The rules of may differ from one business credit card to another. Usually, cardholders are given one point for every dollar spent on their travel reward card. Special expenses such as airline ticket purchases, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and other travel-related charges are often given more points. As a business owner, the more you use your business credit card on your trips, the faster you can collect points and earn bigger rewards.
Points are equivalent to miles and after collecting enough miles in your account, you can enjoy a free travel ticket. The number of points required would depend on your destination. For instance, some destinations may require 5,000 miles points while others may require 10,000 miles points or more. This means you must gather at least 5,000 points to qualify for the free travel.
